Project detail

Our concrete tiles were brilliantly utilised inside, outside, and on the walls to create a beautiful, cohesive space. A wide range of other concrete cladding and stair treads were also manufactured to ensure a continuity throughout the entire home.

Almost 40 different sizes were created overall, this ensured that each slab was the perfect fit with minimal cutting required. The internal floor and wall tiles were cast at 1200 x 1200mm whilst the external stair treads were cast as a hollow box to allow them to seamlessly slot over a steel bracket. Internal stair treads were also cast as L shaped profiles. The clever use of LED lighting within the treads helped ensure the stairs remained as bright as possible.

We worked with William Carter Ltd and LBMV Architects to create the custom colour which needed to have both warm and bright qualities. This was achieved through a 3 month long trial and error sample process until the final colour was signed off by the architects.
