Lazenby has installed decorative concrete externally for over 30 years. Specialising in wet play areas and public spaces and with dozens of finishes available, our knowledge and experience is unrivalled in this sector.

From simple brush finishes, acid etching and exposed aggregate to handcrafted wet play areas, Lazenby offers them all.

Wherever possible Lazenby uses 30% cement replacement and in some finishes are now using 70% GGBS achieving an equivalent to cement-free concrete.

Concrete is extremely hard wearing and durable; it makes for the perfect material to use in high traffic public spaces with extreme weather conditions. Our concrete is heavily reinforced and can be used for both pedestrians and vehicles alike. PTV and slip resistance tests always achieve + 45 in the wet, meeting all required standards.

Our client base ranges from The Royal Parks, local authorities, international theme parks and private clients. The Lazenby team works to the highest standards, closely collaborating with some of the UK’s leading landscape architects, designers and artists.

Lazenby has worked on award winning projects such as: Diana Memorial Playground, Tumbling Bay, # South, by Jacqueline Donachie, Gosport Millennium Sundial and Bournemouth Pier.

External Concrete

Colours / Finishes

External concrete can be supplied with or without colour. This can be Integral to the concrete or surface applied and post treated with chemical stains. The range of finishes is extensive including exposed aggregate, sand blasted, acid etched, brushed and textured.
