Project detail

Lazenby’s Basalt polished concrete floor is featured throughout 400m² of the ground floor and terrace. This magnificent award winning project is by Gregory Phillips Architects and Relicpride Construction. Due to the abundance of natural light flooding into the property, the clients and architect selected Lazenby’s Basalt colour, which beautifully enhances the architectural features of the building.

The centre-piece of this project is undoubtedly the cast in situ island unit and worktop. The island measures 4.2 metres long with a thickness of 125mm. Lazenby called on experienced engineers to help design the unique double cantilever required. A chopping board was also incorporated into the design to help deal with the practicalities of an everyday kitchen. Two fire hearth shelves and kitchen worktop were also cast in situ to achieve a consistent finish throughout

Gregory Phillips have; “received accolades and awards for our new house designs from various institutions, including the Royal Institute of British Architects, International Design and Architecture Awards, International Property Awards, Grand Designs, House and Garden, Daily Telegraph and Sunday Times.” www.gregoryphillips.com/new-houses/#section-2
