Case Study

Lovelace House

At Lovelace House, design ambition meets technical expertise to create a home that feels as refined as it looks. In collaboration with the Hampton Group, Lazenby installed 250 m² of Off White Polished Concrete across the ground and first floors of this striking new build — all completed within just one week. The designers envisioned concrete as a “statement surface — a seamless contemporary design feature to complement the uniqueness of Lovelace House.”

The Off-white tone reflects the abundance of natural light, lending the interior a calm, expansive feel. Its subtle warmth adds character and depth to the open spaces, balancing the home’s modern form with a touch of understated elegance.

Beneath the surface, an energy-efficient underfloor heating system provides comfort and consistency. By laying the concrete directly over the heating system, we were was able to deliver a complete flooring solution much faster than traditional screed or tile alternatives — combining speed, performance, and beauty in one unified system.

“The team at Lazenby was fantastic — from the design stage through to the installation process, nothing was too much trouble,” says homeowner Michelle Jolley.

Every detail at Lovelace House speaks of precision, craftsmanship, and care — a home where modern living meets timeless design, and polished concrete becomes both the foundation and the feature. A family home designed to grow and evolve.
