Case Study
Brink Gallery
In the heart of West London, Brink Gallery stands as a dialogue between art, architecture, and material. Designed by Richard Parr Associates, this former Temperance Hall has been reimagined as a dynamic gallery for artists, makers, and thinkers.
Project detail
Launched in September, the gallery features 37m2 of Lazenby MicroLux Flooring throughout in our signature Chalk, which provides both permanence and calm against the ever-changing exhibitions it hosts. The neutral tone grounds the interior, allowing artworks and architectural details to take centre stage.
MicroLux was selected for its unrivalled performance and refined concrete aesthetic — offering the beauty of polished concrete in a thinner, more versatile form. The smooth, tonal surface contrasts with the building’s original brickwork while complementing the custom pivoting display panels that define the flexible layout.
“The synergy between art and architecture enriches our creative process,” explains Richard Parr. “It allows us to explore the boundaries of space, structure, and human experience.”
Brink Gallery celebrates the intersection of craftsmanship and creativity — a space where every surface, including the floor beneath your feet, becomes part of the artistic experience.
