Lazenby worked with Scott Donald Architecture on this award winning new build house where our Light Natural flooring was used both internally and externally. The project was beautifully designed and is a perfect example how polished concrete can be incorporated into a home in a number of ways.Go Back
Project detail
Our polished concrete floor was installed directly over underfloor heating to 100mm depth. Due to the split levels on the ground floor we also had to incorporate 5 cast in situ steps to ensure the flooring ran consistently throughout the ground floor.
The Architect also then wished to extend the concrete externally. This was achieved by using both in situ concrete for the patio area and then pre-cast concrete tiles for several areas around the building. In total we provided almost 120 external tiles in varying sizes. They were all cast in a textured face finish so that they were suitable for an external environment.
