Project detail

Lazenby installed over 1,200m² of Cool Grey polished concrete floors, 90 Fossil pre-cast stair treads with feature strips and 7.5m long in situ reception desk and two in-situ restaurant worktops at 4m & 5m in length.

Lazenby’s Cool Grey floor was laid 100mm deep over a concrete subbase, insulation in a number of locations throughout the ground floor as well as underfloor and incorporates a complex joint plan to maintain the elegant architectural lines. The floor was installed over a 2 week period and required an experienced team of 6 master craftsmen.

Lazenby’s Yeovil manufacturing centre made 90 identical Fossil pre-cast stair treads. Each tread was inlaid with several parallel lines of anti-slip strip. This design feature enhanced the look and durability of these 2m wide treads.

Lazenby’s Cool Grey In-situ polished concrete reception desks and servery counters were all cast on site to ensure each element was seamless without the need for joint. Shadow gaps below each desk gives the impression that these amazing features are floating.
