Project detail

The designers of this high end retail store were looking to achieve a seamless polished concrete floor but as the area was located on the 3rd floor of the Harvey Nichols department store in Knightsbridge, pouring a full depth polished concrete floor presented logistical difficulties.

To overcome this we used our Architop system which was installed at just 2mm thick. The main contractor installed a cement particle board to FFL which provided an ideal surface to work off and bond the Architop to.

Due to the lack of natural light the clients opted for Neutro colour to help brighten the space as much as possible.

As the Architop system does not require concrete pumps or large machinery, it was simple to distribute the materials around the site, This meant that the entire area could be installed and sealed within one week ready for the store opening.
