Project detail

Lazenby’s GFC sinks are 1600mm long and 400mm wide and are also accompanied by matching colour splashbacks. By casting the sinks with an elegant angled basin it allows the water to drain into an unexpected shadow gap. Over 3000 pre-cast concrete tiles in 600 x 300 x 20mm were also manufactured and laid throughout the bathrooms of this office building. To aid with slip resistance in this potentially wet environment the tiles were cast with a textured, anti slip face. The sinks, splashbacks and tiles were pre-cast at the Yeovil factory and carefully shipped to site and installed by the main contractor.

Lazenby’s Platinum Grey colour was selected for the pre-cast work to give a modern yet natural look. The integral colouring used for pre-cast concrete achieves a totally consistent look from the first to the last tile. The GFC process also gives clean and smooth architectural lines.
