Whilst the sealer will resist staining, it is recommended that the polished concrete floor is cleaned regularly and that any spillage is removed as soon as practical.
It is difficult to judge the amount of cleaning and maintenance required. As a guide we would recommend washing twice a week and an application of floor maintainer fortnightly.
We recommend you use our cleaning products or at the very least you must use a neutral PH cleaner which will be available from any good janitorial supplies.
Sweep or Vacuum floor to remove any debris and dust.
Carefully remove any stubborn deposits i.e. dried on food with a non-scratch implement such as a wooden spatula.
Mop over with warm water and a mild detergent. We would recommend using a dry mop such as a micro fibre mop.
All detergents must have a neutral Ph. Every day cleaners such as Flash will strip your sealer very quickly.
For maintaining your sealed surface use Lithofin Care. This product contains a small amount of Siloxane and will help keep your polished concrete floor protected.
Sweep or hoover the floor, mop the surface with Lithofin Easy Care at a 50:1 as specified.
