Technical detail:

100mm basalt polished concrete floor overlays existing subbase. C35 concrete slabs reinforced with a single layer of A252 mesh. The joint plan for crack inducement joints was more complex due to the intrusion created by the existing elements of the floor whilst trying to maintain architectural streamline effect. Any intrusion within the concrete will create a weak point increasing the risk of cracking, this is overcome by our designed joint layout and additional reinforcement in those locations.

The Lazenby installation was the final element of the composite floor.
